Landmannalaugar sits deep in the southern highlands, where mountains of pink, orange and green rhyolite rise out of black lava fields. The drive out is an expedition in itself — highland tracks, glacial fords and vast moon-like plains that few vehicles can cross.
On arrival you can soak in the natural geothermal hot river, walk the Laugahraun lava field, and look up at the rainbow slopes above camp. We set the pace to fit your group, with plenty of photo stops along the way.
