Iceman Expeditions is operated by Atlas North ehf. — ID: 461026-1330. We process personal data in accordance with Icelandic law No. 77/2000 on the Protection of Privacy and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. What we collect
When you contact us or book a tour, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, and booking details such as tour, date, and group size. We do not collect sensitive data beyond what is needed to run your tour safely.
2. How we use your data
We use your information to answer inquiries, organise your booking, meet our legal obligations, and — with your consent — share photos or drone footage from your expedition. We never sell your data to third parties.
3. Sharing
Your data is shared only with providers necessary to deliver your tour (for example payment processors) and when required by Icelandic authorities. Communications such as email and WhatsApp are used to coordinate your booking with your consent.
4. Cookies & analytics
This website uses only the cookies needed to function. If analytics are added later, they will be disclosed here with your consent before being used.
5. Retention
Booking records are kept as long as required by Icelandic bookkeeping law; other personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.
